Before the Event
  • Complete your full profile. Candidates with complete profiles get 3x more booth requests from companies. Add a photo, current role, and skills.
  • Research your target companies. Review each company's mission, recent news, and the specific roles you're interested in. Hiring managers notice candidates who've done homework.
  • Update your resume. Tailor it to highlight skills relevant to the roles you're targeting. Keep it to two pages maximum. Upload it to your profile in PDF format.
  • Prepare your 60-second pitch. Practice a clear, confident introduction: who you are, what you do, and what you're looking for. Speak it out loud several times.
  • Pre-book speed interviews. The booth scheduling tool opens 72h before the event. Top slots fill within hours — set a reminder and book early.
  • Test your tech setup. Use the pre-event tech check tool. Confirm your camera, microphone, and internet speed are all working correctly.
During & After the Event
  • Log in 15 minutes early. Review your scheduled sessions, test audio/video one more time, and settle in before the opening keynote.
  • Have your resume open. Keep a PDF of your resume on your desktop, ready to share via chat during or after a booth conversation.
  • Take notes during conversations. Jot down names, interesting details, and any next steps mentioned by hiring managers so you can reference them in follow-ups.
  • Be specific about your interest. "I'm specifically excited about your infrastructure work because..." lands much better than a generic opener. Specificity signals preparation.
  • Follow up within 24 hours. Send a brief, personalized message to each hiring manager you spoke with. Reference something specific from your conversation.
  • Watch session recordings. Sessions you missed are available for 30 days post-event. Don't skip the salary negotiation workshop — it's consistently rated highest by attendees.
